The Ring of Melora is a Vestige of the Primes created and worn by Melora. It was one of the Vestiges left behind as a lock to Tharizdun's prison. During the Echoes Crisis the ring was used to free Tharizdun before being wielded by Argos in the battle against the mad god.

Appearance[]

The band of the Ring resembles a shaped branch of a tree, with small leaves growing from it. The light blue jewel of the ring levitates slightly above the band itself.

History[]

Pre-Divergence[]

The Ring was created for Melora by Erathis when the two Gods were married during the Age of Arcanum. Melora then wore the Ring during the war that caused the Divergence. When Tharizdun was imprisoned by the Prime Deities, Melora used the Ring as a focus to chain the mad god. This then led to the Ring being left behind when the Gods sealed the Divine Gate.

Council of Echoes[]

The Ring was passed amongst the Ashari tribes following the Divergence. As the Echoes Crisis began the Ring was chosen to be escorted to the safety of Zephrah where it could be kept under guard. Hindsight joined with Melora's Escorts to get the Ring safely to Zephrah, fighting off and killing The Nuckelavee before resting at the Ruins of Orme Castle. There they were ambushed by Kulos and Korg and the Ring was captured along with Hindsight, with the Ring passing into the possession of Riza Whispercreek.

The Ring was next seen by Hindsight when they fought Riza and the Council at the Gatshadow. When Riza eventually completed the ritual to free Tharizdun the Ring was released and collected by Hindsight. It was then passed on to ArgosArgos used the Ring's abilities to aid in the defeat of Tharizdun in Emon before turning it back over to the Ashari. The Ring then passed to Ember, a former member of Hindsight who was put in charge of controlling the Gatshadow volcano that had erupted and claimed the lives of many in the area around Westruun following Tharizdun's escape.
